For technical big mountain lines, crevassed ski terrain, or moderate glacier climbs, the Black Diamond Couloir harness offers a fully-featured technical design that compresses down to the size of an orange, allowing it to easily fit into a pack or jacket pocket. With a redesigned construction featuring breathable, low-profile, vari-width Dynex monofilament webbing, it combines ultralight weight with durability. The harness is equipped with a speed buckle on the waist for quick adjustments, along with easy-to-use wings and diaper-style leg loops, making it simple to put on or remove while wearing skis or crampons. The Couloir also includes a patented Infinity Loop for belaying, which is both durable and low-profile, while eliminating the common issue of belay loop seam shift. Additionally, four Ice Clipper slots and integrated ice screw slots in each leg loop help reduce noise during long approaches and glacier travel, while two webbing gear loops securely hold cordalettes, extra carabiners, and other essential gear.
