In addition to its durability and lightweight construction, the Spectra® Ripstop fabric is UV-resistant, making it an excellent choice for high-altitude hiking. The TRI-FLEX™ carry system offers a close-fitting design, featuring a wraparound harness, contoured lumbar pad, and supportive hipbelt for long-lasting comfort. The fit can be fine-tuned using the forward-pull hipbelt, while the ultralight compression straps ensure a secure and stable load. The lower compression strap also doubles as a storage solution, ideal for securing a roll mat.

Accessing gear is quick and hassle-free with the roll-top opening, allowing the pack to expand when carrying larger loads and compress as supplies are used. The spacious front stash pocket easily accommodates extra layers, while the side stash and harness pockets provide convenient access to water and snacks while on the move. A dedicated internal sleeve offers space for a 3L hydration bladder, and external attachment points allow trekking poles to be secured when hands need to remain free.

With a more compact design, the Muon ND40 is particularly well-suited for women or those with smaller frames.
