An exceptional dry compression storage solution designed to keep gear reliably dry and compact within a backpack or bike bag. Constructed from bluesign®-approved, ultra-lightweight Ultra-Sil 30D Cordura® nylon, featuring a C0 non-PFC DWR finish. The eVac® fabric base is both air-permeable and waterproof, allowing air to escape while ensuring the contents remain dry. This eliminates the need for a purge valve, keeping the Evac Compression Dry Bag UL light and streamlined. The compression straps enable soft items to be evenly compacted, while the hypalon non-wicking roll-top closure provides additional water resistance. Simple, ultra-lightweight, and exceptionally reliable—this dry compression bag is the ideal internal storage solution.

Non-PFAS Sea to Summit sleeping bags use PFAS-free fabrics and insulation. The shell’s non-PFAS DWR finish repels moisture, protecting insulation from dampness. Ultra-Dry Down features a non-PFAS hydrophobic treatment that reduces moisture absorption, dries quickly, and maintains breathability for at least 20 washes. All down is ethically sourced. Sea to Summit’s Dry Bags, Stuff Sacks, and Compression Bags have a non-PFAS DWR finish for water resistance, while Big River bags use a non-PFAS PU coating for added protection. |

EVAC Fabric Evac fabric is an air-permeable, waterproof laminate that features in Sea to Summit’s Evac Dry Storage products:
In both cases, the laminate enables air to be expelled from the dry bag or compression dry bag while effectively preventing water from seeping in. This innovative design allows for air to be compressed out of the bag without the need for a purge valve. A purge valve, while functional, adds unnecessary weight and complexity and carries the risk of failure or being unintentionally left in the ‘open’ position. 30D Ultra-Sil This exceptionally lightweight yet robust fabric is utilised in numerous Sea to Summit products. The 30-denier bluesign®-approved nylon is crafted using CORDURA® yarns, ensuring enhanced durability. A Non-PFC durable water-repellent (DWR) finish on the exterior effectively repels water. The interior features a polyurethane coating, with seam-taped construction in dry bags to enhance waterproofing. With a hydrostatic head exceeding 2000mm, this fabric provides ample waterproof protection, making it well-suited for Ultra-Sil dry bags, stuff sacks, and compression sacks in demanding environments. |
