The Black Diamond ATC-Guide remains the most adaptable belay/rappel device, now 10% lighter, with enhanced handling in guide mode. Featuring an oval-shaped anchor-hole, it now feeds rope more smoothly and allows easier rope retrieval. The multiple friction modes offer the perfect amount of stopping power during lowering or rappelling, and the guide mode enables the user to belay one or two seconding climbers from an anchor.
