As the most durable and protective option in the Ascendor range, these trousers are constructed from a bonded 2-layer Matrix™ softshell fabric, offering outstanding wind and weather resistance. This flexible mid-weight material provides reliable warmth in harsh conditions, while reinforced kicker patches on the lower legs enhance durability against rugged terrain and crampon spikes. Designed for a tailored fit, the Ascendor Alpine Pants feature a semi-adjustable waistband with hook-and-loop tabs, as well as the option to wear a belt or detachable braces. The high waistband integrates seamlessly with a climbing harness, and the articulated knees combined with a long-length gusset ensure unrestricted movement on steep ascents. Ventilation is optimised with two concealed thigh vents, while a zipped ankle gusset allows for an adjustable hem to accommodate larger winter climbing boots.

Equipped with two front hand pockets and a rear pocket, all secured with robust YKK® zips, these highly technical and hard-wearing climbing trousers are built for winter conditions, making them ideal for alpine adventures and Scottish mountaineering routes.
